Mitali Naik is a Bharatnatyam Classical Artist / Performer / Teacher based in Mumbai and Goa. Mitali Naik is known for her distinguished performances, teaching, and contributions to Indian classical dance.
Early Life
Mitali Naik was born on 2nd May in Mumbai and was brought up in Goa. She identifies as Goan by heart.
Education
Mitali Naik holds a Nritya Alankar in Bharatnatyam from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal. She also earned a Master's Degree in Bharatnatyam (MPA) from Pune University. Additionally, she has academic qualifications in B.Com and LLB.
Career
Mitali Naik completed her Arangetram, a certified first professional solo recital of three hours, in 2004. She received advanced training under renowned gurus including Dr. Smt. Ambika Vishwanathan, former HOD at Nalanda University Mumbai; Dr. Smt. Kshitija Barve; and Kalaimamani Shri Janardhanan Aryambhat, former Principal of Kalakshetra Institute of Dance Chennai. She has performed at prestigious national festivals and venues such as the 27th Noopur Classical Dance Festival, Sathyabhama Dance Festival (Visakhapatnam), Virasat Festival, Saras Festival, Nakshatra Utsav, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (Government of Goa), National Youth Festival, Sangeet Mahotsav (Ujjain), Chennai Vaikuntham Classical Dance Festival, and at the National Stage of Shri Krishna Mandir, Udupi Krishna Math. She is also a registered examiner for Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal examinations up to the Alankar level and mentors young aspiring dancers.
Achievements
Mitali Naik has received several honours including the Sathyabhama Yuva Puraskar, Kala Ratna Puraskar, Nritya Guru Award by Bharat Nritya Mohotsav, recognition from the Rotary Club of Panjim, and felicitation by the Samrat Club, Panjim for conceptualizing Samrat Nrityotsav 2024.

Mitali Naik is actively nurturing young students and contributing to the growth of Bharatnatyam through teaching and mentorship.
