Sandeep Kotwal

Sandeep Kotwal is an Indian civil engineer, educator, lyricist, producer, and writer based in Jammu & Kashmir. Known for integrating engineering precision, artistic creativity, and ethical discipline, he has over three decades of experience across hydropower, telecom infrastructure, and engineering education. Early Life

Kotwal was born in Bhaderwah and raised in Pul Doda, a ribbon-shaped settlement along the Chenab River in Jammu & Kashmir. Early exposure to the riverine Himalayan environment shaped his interest in responsible engineering and environmental stewardship.

• Kishenganga Hydroelectric Project (generating) – experience with Robbins and SEELI TBMs; ISO systems and planning
• Panan / Himagiri Hydroelectric Project (under construction) – managed works under difficult Sikkim conditions; recognized for engineering precision
